We are thrilled to offer donation based classes to our community. We have a list of our current offerings below with class descriptions. Our classes are drop in based - need for online registration!

Schools Of Yoga + Levels + Family Friendly 

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a way to relax and soothe the body. This class uses bolsters, blankets, and blocks in poses so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. 

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa translates as "breath with movement". The classes are known for fluid, movement-intensive practices The intensity of the practice can be similar Ashtanga, but no two vinyasa classes are the same, unlike Ashtanga.

Aromatherapy Flow

Vinyasa is the dance of movement + breath—no rushing here. Explore asana as a body mudra—krama by krama (stage by stage) the body awakens and opens. Our most primal sense is smell: indulge the senses with the use of therapeutic grade essential oils applied to the wrists.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness. It is an energetic practice focused on awakening kundalini energy through meditation, pranayama, chanting mantra and yoga asana. These classes are family friendly and offer something for everyone.

Open to practioners of all backgrounds.

Family Friendly

Bring the kiddos, bring the family dog, bring your nanny, your neighbor, your mom, your uncle, your neice, bring them ALL.

Beginner Friendly

Are you just beginning Yoga? Have you been practicing for a while and want to relearn some foundational concepts? Getting back into the practice post injury or long leave?

FAQ's

Does "donation based" mean free?  It means you give what you can when you can. If you have more to give, our hope is you can give more for those who cannot. We also are open to work/trade.

I'm a beginner. Can I take any class? Congrats and welcome! Take a moment to read our class descriptions and see what seems to be best for you. All of our classes are inclusive with welcoming teachers so it should be a matter of preference, not history. Also when you arrive, let your teacher know if you're new to the practice. We also have some beginner friendly classes labeled in the schedule.

Can you come teach at my work or home or at an event? If you are located in San Francisco and we have notice we would love to explore these options!

Do I need to bring anything? Yourself. A friend. An open heart. We have mats + props + water + tea, sometimes snacks.

How do I donate? We accept Venmo, PayPal, Chase QuickPay, Cash, or Credit Cards.

Do you offer packages? We currently offer classes on a drop in basis.  

Are there private classes?Suggested donations for private lessons are between $40-$80, or can be agreed upon through service trades.

Danae Robinett is a passionate yoga teacher with a degree in Dance from Arizona State University.  

Sharing the practice of yoga both locally and Internationally for 13+ years. Danae draws inspiration from many sources to create her yoga classes, so please come prepared to sweat, smile and shine. 

She radiates a playful spirit while still honoring the sacredness of yoga. Danae fosters a nurturing environment encouraging students to explore their vast potential in any given asana, to not hold back while in the pose and in life. 

What we learn on our mats automatically translates into the other areas of our lives resulting in transformational effects. 

She wants her to students know that yoga embraces you exactly where you are.

Her personal practice is now more than ever curious about breath, taking time to feel and explore each asana as it unfolds before her on the mat. 

Danae offers gratitude to all her teachers. She is honored to be on this path witnessing the powerful affects of yoga for herself and that of her students.

Devi Kiran Kuar's offering as a teacher are to hold sacred space for students to be themselves, freely and completely. In the Western world, the practice of yoga is often misunderstood as a practice of perfection and flexibility. Although asanas (postures) are important in providing the foundation for one to go deeper within themselves, the true yoga lies in the union — the union of the body and spirit to be in harmony and full acceptance of one another at any given time and space.

My goal as a teacher is to guide you beyond the limitations and illusions of the mind through the vehicle of the ancient practice of Kundalini Yoga. Learn to see beyond the two physical eyes. Become so empty that the earth and cosmic energy can flow freely through your body and being. Open the opportunity to live comfortably in your heart and to walk in the vibration of your highest truth. Come to the true realization that you and creation are one.

Kandis Tagliabue offers a wide variety in her teachings for her students of all backgrounds to form organic lasting connections to their individual spiritual journeys. Her personal journey began working in technology as a teen into early adulthood. Looking for stress relief remedies and ways to release low back pain, she discovered Yoga. The practice helped Kandis with the most tangible issue of physical ailments, what surprised Kandis was how much it changed her life in subtle ways. She was sleeping better, consuming healthier food, setting better boundaries at work, and she wasn't quite sure how it was all happening, but continued to show up in class and study with her teacher individually. She later became a Registered Yoga Teacher and was also introduced to other healing modalities like Reiki, Ayurveda, breathwork, and meditation. Some highlights of her journey are completing Yoga trainings at LMU in the teachings of trauma sensitive trainings, teaching mindfulness in elementary settings, becoming a Reiki Master, studying Ayurveda at California College Of Ayurveda, learning breathwork extensively, becoming involved in Kundalini Yoga, and undergoing formal training in psychology.

She believes her teachings can be easily integrated and maintained through curiosity, compassion, and by offering support as a teacher. Her content has been integrated into yoga studios, workplaces, and wellness centers. She is constantly continuing her education and trainings in Yoga, Wellness, Trauma Awareness, Meditation, Alternative Healing, Ayurveda, Psychology and Mental Health.

Kandis' philosophy is kindness and began Home Sweet Om with the intention of offering wellness to the community regardless of an individual's financial situation.

Alena is a yoga and meditation instructor dedicated to connecting her students to their most authentic selves, so they can find harmony by living in sync with their souls deepest desires and using their superpowers (because everyone has them!) for the good of others.  Utilizing asana, meditation, pranayama, and philosophy teachings, Alena guides her students along the path of self-discovery.

Alena’s personal journey started in 2012 when she walked into her first yoga class in search of a practice that would help her increase her physical health. But along the way of strengthening her body, she found a lot more. Her yoga practice showed her a way to understand herself and the world around her not only through the lens of intellect, but also through the body sensations and trusting her heart’s intuition. Alena believes that the lessons she received on her mat allowed her to become more present and whole.

To share the gift of yoga with others, Alena completed 200-hour teacher training in 2016 and have been teaching ever since. Currently, she is continuing her yoga education at Yoga Tree, where she is pursuing her 500-hour certification with a concentration on overall wellbeing. Alena is drawing her inspiration from her mentors at Yoga To The People and Yoga Tree, her knowledge of psychology form her studies at UC Berkeley, traditional texts, her own practice, examination of human anatomy, and training in healing.
